Located in Auburn Indiana, Excelsior Arts Academy and Youth Theater helps young people develop, learn, and grow through the performing arts. From age eight to twenty-two, students from Allen, Lagrange, Noble, Steuben and DeKalb Counties are provided access to classes in theater, vocal music, and stage movement locally here in DeKalb County rather than needing to seek training hours away.
Our students produce multiple productions throughout the year to share their talent with the community.
Because the student is the focus at Excelsior, the academy provides a nurturing environment where young people feel safe to take chances without fear of failure or ridicule in a space where young minds can expand and achieve things they had only dreamed. This in turn leads to new levels of confidence and poise as well as inspiration.
